North Carolina Unit of The Herb Society of America Endowed Scholarship

Established in 1997, the North Carolina Unit of The Herb Society of America Endowed Scholarship is awarded to a first-year or second-year Landscape Gardening student only (not Turf Mgmt.). Prefer student whose goal is to work in a public garden. Student should maintain 2.5 GPA.

The North Carolina Unit of The Herb Society of America, Inc. was organized in 1982 to further the knowledge and use of herbs and to share this interest and expertise with the greater community. The North Carolina Unit meets regularly in Greensboro, NC, and has approximately 60 members interested in gardening, plant propagation, crafting, cooking, research, writing, speaking, photography and art related to herbs.
