Jean Henning Krepick Memorial Scholarship

The Jean Krepick Memorial Scholarship was established in 2010 by Bill and Donna Krepick in honor and memory of Bill’s mother, Jean Henning Krepick, the first wife of Bill’s father, John Krepick.

The Jean Henning Krepick Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a full-time student accepted in any program with tie-breaking preference given first to education and then to nursing majors with selection based on student’s integrity, and initiative. Student should have history of participating in community service (with a plus given to Boy or Girl Scouts or equivalent youth group participation), participation in a team sport (i.e., basketball, baseball, golf), and summertime work to help pay own way. Recipient should have a minimum 3.0 GPA in high school and to maintain a 3.0 GPA at Sandhills. Student to provide clearly articulated and well-conceived goals for SCC education.

La Beca en Memoria de Jean Henning Krepick se galardona a un/una estudiante de jornada completa aceptado/a en cualquier programa, y en el caso de un empate, se da una preferencia primero a estudiantes persiguiendo una carrera en educación, y siguiente en enfermería, con la elección basada en la honestidad y la iniciativa del estudiante. El/La estudiante debe tener una historia de involucrarse en servicio comunitario (se da una aventaja a un Boy Scout o a una Girl Scout o la participación en un programa de juventud equivalente), la participación en un equipo deportivo (por ejemplo: el básquetbol, béisbol, golf), y trabajo vernal para pagar por su propia educación. El/La beneficiario/a debe mantener un GPA de al menos 3.0 en la escuela secundaria así como también en Sandhills Community College. El/La estudiante tiene que producir metas claras y bien hechas para su educación en Sandhills Community College.
