Situs Business Scholars

Situs is a premier, global provider of end-to-end commercial real estate and loan advisory services and integrated solutions. Situs’ location in Robbins, NC, is a ground-breaking operations center started in January 2007 that competes directly with offshore providers of support services to the commercial real estate, finance and banking industries. By utilizing rural outsourcing the new location has enabled Situs to increase customer satisfaction by providing higher-quality services at lower costs to its clients.

The partnership between Situs and Sandhills Community College began with the development of customized training specifically designed to help meet Situs’ local hiring needs. The newly developed Banking and Finance Certificate and Business Program concentration will help with creating jobs and expanding the existing workforce for the Robbins location. The Situs Business Scholars Programs help to support students pursuing this new program.

Established in 2012, Situs Business Scholars are deserving first or second year students enrolled full-time in the Business Administration or Accounting degree program at SCC. Selection is based on merit and potential for success with preference given to students pursuing a concentration or certificate in Banking and Finance. Student may receive second year, if qualified.
