Betty Kathryn Ray Memorial Scholarship
The Betty Kathryn Ray Memorial Scholarship was originally established in 1993 by Ray and Jaqueline Stroupe in memory of Mrs. Stroupe’s sister, Betty Kathryn Ray. The scholarship was later very generously endowed through an estate gift from Jacqueline Ray Stroupe in 2012 honoring her sister, Betty Kathryn Ray, and her husband, Ray McKinley Stroupe.
Betty Kathryn Ray Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a first-year student pursuing a career in Business with demonstrated financial need and commitment to receiving a degree. Student may receive scholarship second year if he/she maintains at least 3.0 GPA.
