The Rita W. Foye Memorial Scholarship Fund

Selection Criteria: 1) Award to a deserving student enrolling full-time; preference given to a student looking to enter the Nursing Program at SCC; 2) Student must be an employee of St. Joseph Of the Pines Health Center; 3) Selection based on merit and potential for success; 4) Student may receive scholarship for a 2nd yr., if remain qualified; 5) if there are no Nursing Program applicants, the scholarship may be awarded to a student in another program as long as they are a St. Joseph’s of the Pines Health Center employee; 6) If no employees of the St. Joseph’s of the Pines Health Center apply for a scholarship, the scholarship is to be held until a suitable applicant is found; 7) In the event that St. Joseph of the Pines no longer operates in the Sandhills area, then an alternative deserving student may be selected with preference given to a student seeking a Nursing degree and working in a long-term care facility.
