The Mark and Anne Lewis Endowed Fund for Student Scholars
The Mark and Anne Lewis Endowed Fund for Student Scholars is awarded to two first or second-year students enrolled in Health Science with preference given to Associate Degree Nursing students. Student should demonstrate financial need. Recommendations should express student’s potential for success, dedication to the health care profession, and show that the candidate has overcome obstacles to achieve goals.
Established in 2007 through a thoughtful and generous estate gift made by Mark C. and Anne R. Lewis, The Mark and Anne Lewis Endowed Fund for Student Scholars recognizes Mr. Lewis’ dedication to volunteerism at FirstHealth Moore Regional and Mrs. Lewis’ dedication to improving her community and honoring the service of her daughter, Kirby Mataxis, to education as a teacher at Sandhills Community College.
