The Anne E. Ellis Culinary Scholarship

Established by Earl Ellis in honor of his wife, Anne E. Ellis, in 2012, The Anne E. Ellis Scholarship is awarded to a deserving student enrolled in Culinary or Baking & Pastry Arts program at SCC. Selection is based on need and potential for success. The Ellis’ have strong ties to the SCC Culinary Department as the kitchen facilities are named in honor of Mr. Ellis’ Company, Whole Harvest.

Mrs. Ellis and her husband have lived in the Pinehurst area since 2001. While living on Long Island, NY, Mrs. Ellis was active with many non profits. She was Chairman of the Board of WL IW, PBS, President of the Tillis Performing Art Center, Trustee of Long Island University and Dowling College, as well as on other Boards involved in family and social issues.
