Morris and Yolanda currently serve as elders in their church. Because they have a desire to serve and understand the importance of education as a resource to success, they have established this scholarship fund. Morris and Yolanda’s life work continues to focus on helping others.

The Goins family has been an anchor in the Southern Pines/Pinehurst, NC area as well as numerous other locations where they have lived. The Goins family will continue to uplift others because in order for our nation to be a world super-power, the family must first be strong to subsequently impact neighborhoods, communities, counties, states, and ultimately the nation.

Impact

Our aim is to assist a student in completing an associate degree, which will facilitate the student and future generations obtaining financial freedom. It is our prayer that through these acts of love no family is left behind.

The Goins Gifts, INC Scholarship Fund was established in 2018 by Morris and Yolanda Goins in order to economically empower a single parent to financial independence. The Goins Gifs, INC Scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving Sandhills Community College student enrolled in any academic discipline.
