Jenessa Kramer Memorial Scholarship

Jenessa Kramer Memorial Scholarship

In honor of a life filled with light, love, and incredible courage, The Jenessa Kramer Memorial Scholarship has been established by her parents, family, and friends. This scholarship was created to support students who embody Jenessa’s spirit of compassion, resilience, and kindness.
Born on October 2, 2013, in Amarillo, Texas, Jenessa Marie Kramer came into the world with a heart full of compassion and a smile that could brighten anyone’s day. She and her sisters joined the Kramer family on November 22, 2017, a day that changed everything. From the moment she walked through the door, she brought light, laughter, and a love that filled every corner of their hearts. On January 4, 2019, she was officially adopted by her parents, Jay and Holly Kramer, forever sealing what had already been true in their hearts: she was home.
Jenessa passed away on June 3, 2025, at just 11 years old, due to complications related to her genetic condition, neurofibromatosis. Her life, though far too short, was filled with meaning, laughter, and love.
She was the best big sister to Kennedy and Renesmee, always leading with love, protection, and encouragement. Jenessa had a deep love for school, never wanting to miss a day. Her dream was to become a doctor so she could help children like herself, showing the same strength and compassion, she carried every day.
Jenessa loved big, stood up for others, and saw the beauty in everyone she met. She was a friend to all and a light in every room she entered.
Through this scholarship, we honor her memory and her dream of making the world a better place.
