Bessie Hedrick Memorial Scholarship

The Bessie Hedrick Memorial Human Service Technology Scholarship is given in memory of SCC Alumni, Bessie Hedrick, one of the victims of the 2009 shooting tragedy at Pinelake Health and Rehab in Carthage NC. This scholarship is awarded annually to a student enrolled in Human Service Technology who has demonstrated potential for success. Student must plan a career in Human Services and have a strong commitment to helping others. Student must demonstrate financial need.
